William "Red" Kenneth Robertson

William Kenneth “Red” Robertson, 81, of Ruffin, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Annie Penn Hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Happy Home Church Cemetery with Rev. Heath Lloyd officiating.  The family will receive friends at the home of Chris and Crystal Robertson, 160 Crystal Lake Trail, Reidsville. 

Red was born in Rockingham County to the late William Owen Robertson and Grace Evans Robertson. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. He worked at Golden Belt with 34 years of service and after retiring began working  with First National Bank as a courier,  Hall Well and Plumbing and Sparks Oil/NASCAR.  He was a dedicated grandfather and was always known for never missing a sporting event, especially baseball games.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Robertson; son, Scott Robertson and sister, Janice Whitener.

He is survived by his son, Chris Robertson and wife, Crystal; grandchildren, Owen Robertson and girlfriend, Mackenzie, and Carson Robertson; sister, Joan Pruitt and husband, Jimmy; numerous nieces and nephews; special neighbor, Diane Thomas and friend, Linda Chrismon.
