Reidsville – Mr. William “Billy” Ray Scott, 40, of Reidsville passed away on May 6, 2013 at his home. Billy was born on September 12, 1972 in Reidsville to Norman Scott, Jr. and Joyce Elaine Scott who survives him. Survivors other than his parents include one brother, Norman (Tripp) Scott, III and wife Chasity of Reidsville; one sister, Margaret (Martie) Richardson and husband Barry of Laurinburg; three nephews and three nieces, Kristin Chaney, Jacob Chaney, Pete Daniel, McKenzie Chilton, Blake Scott and Callie Scott. A graveside funeral service will be held on 11 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Ralph Clayton will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Other times the family will be at the home of the parents, 141 Thompson Heights Road, Reidsville.
