William “Butch” Waller, 70, passed away peacefully with his family, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Annie Penn Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at Reidlawn Cemetery on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Ralph Clayton Officiating.
Butch was born on July 19, 1950 in Rockingham county to the late Helen Brame and John Davis. Butch was a supervisor at Unifi for 32 years and then later retired from RF Micro after 7 years of service. He was an avid golfer and often could be found playing pool or interesting himself in muscle and classic cars, always making his way to car shows and auctions. With a large, loving family, Butch enjoyed time with his friends and family, always cutting up and joking with others, all while showing his humorous love and compassion for others.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Waller; sisters, Ann “Bunny” Stewart and Gloria Dale Waller.
Butch is survived by his loving wife of nearly 6 years, Karen Chaney Waller; children, Stephanie Conklin and Shane Waller; daughter in-law, Stephanie Taylor Waller; step-son, Christopher Coye Paschal II; siblings, Diane Bolden and Johnny Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Jordan Pruitt, Kristen Lahnum, Shane Waller II, Kelsie Waller; one great-grandson, Weston Lahnum; along with Ashley Holcomb, Chelsea Slaughter, Chasity Slaughter and a loving extended family.
Our friend will be available for viewing at Wilkerson Funeral Home in the later evening of Thursday, all day Friday, and the morning hours on Saturday.
