Reidsville – Willie “Nute” Fulp, 80 of 111 Sweet Water Road, died on December 5, 2012 at Penn Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Harold Venable officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Military rites will be held by the Rockingham County Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Bryan Bullock, Steve Cummings, Buddy Fulp, Richard Johnson, Allen Mabe, Joey Martin and Mike Somers.
Mr. Fulp was born in Stoneville, N.C. to the late John D Fulp and Maude Chapmon Fulp. He was retired from The American Tobacco Company and was a member of the New Heights Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Corene Cummings Fulp; brothers, Robie, Jack, Dave, Glen and Bud Fulp.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Fulp of Stoneville; sister, Margie Holland of Pine Hall; brother-in-law, Herman Cummings and wife, Bessie; sister-in-law, Ruth Cummings all of Reidsville; Annas Fulp and Margaret Jenkins both of Stoneville; Rhoda Shelton of Reidsville and numerous nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and at other times the family will be at 1774 Mt. Carmel Church Road.
