Zelphia Ann Kernodle

Reidsville: Mrs. Ann Witty Kernodle, 77, of Reidsville, passed away on Sunday, August 24th, 2014. Ann was born April 6th, 1937 in Rockingham County to the late Arthur Lee Witty and Irene Cochran Witty. She was retired from Annie Penn Hospital. She was a loving wife and mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Kernodle. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one and ½ years: Daniel R. Kernodle of the home; one son: Terry Kernodle of Ruffin; daughters: Barbara K. Blake and husband, Ronald of Ruffin; Patricia K. Cox and husband, Bart of Eden; Linda Bolden; Betty King and husband, Ron all of Reidsville; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers: Art Witty, Jr. and wife, Regina of Wentworth and Troy Witty of Reidsville. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rev .Dan Jones and Rev. Mark Tolodziecki will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from six until eight o’clock at the funeral home and other time at the family residence.
